We are delighted to present "Kaolin in Japan"; A group exhibition featuring a selection of Kaolin's members to be held in Tokyo and Tajimi in March this year.
The collaboration between Swedish Ceramics Group Kaolin and Japanese Gallery Mizusai was initiated in 2019 when Kaolin's members visited Japan to participate in a ceramics festival. As a result of this, Gallery Mizusai held two highly appreciated exhibitions in Stockholm at Kaolin's gallery during the Summer of 2024. In connection with the exhibitions, ceramicists from Mizusai also visited Sweden to take part in workshops and other exchanges of experience with Kaolin's members.
We now introduce the next step in our collaboration which aims to bring our cultures together; A selection of Kaolin's high quality ceramics will be presented to the Japanese audience in two exhibitions hosted by Mizusai. A group of Kaolin members will also travel to Japan to participate in workshops and studio visits together with our Japanese hosts.
You are warmly welcomed to visit the exhibitions in Japan. Please feel free to contact us at any time for more information about us and the collaboration:
