Åsa Falkenbert

As a fifteen year-old on work experience in a pottery, Åsa promised herself that she would never touch clay again, but fortunately it didn’t turn out that way. Now she prefers to throw a red earthenware clay followed by slip and glaze inspired by traditional Scandinavian earthenware, but sometimes decorated with decals. Åsa makes colourful, powerful ceramics that invite use every day and for special occasions. A flower just has to be planted in that pot, an amazing salad scattered across that plate and something warm drunk from her generous teacups.
